One Direction headline Apple Music Festival in London
20 Aug 2015
One Direction have been confirmed to play a headline gig in London as part of the Apple Music Festival.
The boy band will perform a headline show at London’s Roundhouse on 22 September, and the show is part of Apple Music Festival that sees a number of artists play gigs over 10 days.
Niall said, “It’ll be great to be back in London and we can’t wait to perform for our fans in the Roundhouse and around the world on Apple Music! See you there!”
The show, which will be livestreamed for those who can’t make it, is just a few days ahead of the boys’ UK tour, which starts on 24 September at the iconic O2 arena in London.
Before they take their On The Road Again tour around the country, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson will perform for six nights at The O2.
After London, 1D will head to Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, Belfast, Newcastle and Sheffield. Their final UK show will take place on 31 October at Sheffield Arena.
One Direction’s tour supports Four, which is the band’s fourth album, but they are expected to treat fans to their new single, Drag Me Down. The track is their first without former member Zayn Malik.
Tickets for One Direction’s UK tour are now on sale.
