Stereophonics release Keep The Village Alive tomorrow
10 Sep 2015
After two years, the wait for Stereophonics’ new album, Keep The Village Alive, is almost over as it is due for release tomorrow.
Keep The Village Alive is the Welsh band’s ninth studio album and will available to purchase globally tomorrow, Friday 11 September.
The album is the band’s first with Jamie Morrison, who joined the group after Javier Weyler left in 2012, and was produced by lead singer Kelly Jones along with Jim Lowe.
Ahead of the release they revealed singles C’est La Vie and I Wanna Get Lost With You. The full track listing is as follows:
1. C'est la Vie
2. White Lies
3. Sing Little Sister
4. I Wanna Get Lost With You
5. Song for the Summer
6. Fight or Flight
7. My Hero
9. Into the World
10. Mr and Mrs Smith
The collection follows 2013’s Graffiti On The Train, and it was reportedly intended as a trilogy album due to Kelly Jones writing a number of additional songs during the recoding process of their 2013 release.
However, the band decided against this and went into the studio in 2014. Keep The Village Alive was recorded in Brussels and Belgium.
Stereophonics announced an arena tour last month, which will support the release of Keep The Village Alive. The tour is due to visit arenas across the country starting in Bournemouth on 2 December and finishing in London on 16 December. Tickets are now on sale.
