Scotland’s Bay City Rollers have confirmed three shows in Glasgow for December 2015. Tickets are now on sale.
The group, who were at the height of their fame almost 40 years ago, will return for what will be three special concerts in Glasgow this December.
Initially announcing one gig at Glasgow Barrowland, the band later confirmed additional dates due to huge ticket demand. They will perform for three nights at the venue on 20, 21 and 22 December.
Les McKeown spoke of the tour to the Daily Record, “"We are coming back to say thanks to the fans that were there when I was 17, Woody was 16 and Alan was 20.
"We are coming back to entertain those people and the young people who want to see a professional band who were part of pop history."
Bay City Rollers were best known for their singles Bye Bye Baby – which later featured in the hit film Love Actually and opened the band up to new fans – Shang-A-Lang, Give A Little Love and Remember (Sha La La La).
Formed in 1966, they enjoyed the most success in the mid ‘70s that was dubbed Rollermania. They were known across the world as teen sensations, complete with their tartan attire.
