Slipknot to perform in Belfast on 2016 UK tour
Heavy metal favourites Slipknot will take their 2016 tour to Belfast, it has been confirmed.

Slipknot will now perform at Belfast’s SSE Arena on 15 February, which is part of their 2016 UK tour.

After Slipknot tickets went on sale last week for their UK dates, the band has confirmed a gig in Northern Ireland.

The concert will form the end of their 2016 tour, which is due to start at Cardiff Arena on 8 February and includes two gigs at London’s Alexandra Palace.

Frontman Corey Taylor said of the tour, "Any time we get the chance to come over to the UK, it's awesome. Hopefully the fans have as much fun as we do. We'll be putting together a great set for them, and as we fill out the bill with bands, we hope the excitement gets even bigger."

Slipknot tickets for the Belfast show will go on general sale on 16 October, tickets are now on sale for the band’s other dates around the UK.
