Kurt Cobain and Frank Sinatra Inspired Lana Del Rey Album
Lana Del Rey’s album “Born To Die” is set for its 30th January 2012 release through Interscope.

The 12-track album features the single Video Games and its bonus track Blue Jeans. Lana Del Rey has spoken about her influences and revealed Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, Frank Sinatra, Britney Spears and Elvis Presley were amongst the sources of inspiration during the writing of the album.

Preceding the album’s release is current single Born To Die and a special remix package containing remixes by Woodkid & The Shoes, Clams Casino and PDP/13. Behind the cryptic name PDP/13 is no other than Damon Albarn, frontman and songwriting genius behind Blur and Gorillaz.

Following the release of Born to Die, fans of the BRIT Awards nominee and YouTube sensation hope that Lana Del Rey is going to announce a full-length tour with stops in the UK to promote what has become one of the most anticipated releases in recent pop history.
