Ladyhawke Tour Announced
New Zealand songstress and multi-talented musician, Ladyhawke, has announced her first UK tour in two years.

Ladyhawke sets out on the road in in April and May in support of her new album “Anxiety.” Talking of her new album, the 32-year old described “Anxiety” as a more “straight-up guitar record” than her 2008 eponymously titled debut “Ladyhawke.”

”(Anxiety) is a lot more rocky. The tone of it is definitely darker.” Says Ladyhawke, real name Phillipa "Pip" Brown, “It's still poppy and fun, but I listened to a lot of guitar rock when I was writing it, stuff like Pixies, Blur, Nirvana and I've always wanted to make a guitar record. There's no synth, but there's some organ. It's more of a straight-up rock record".

Ladyhawke blames physical exhaustion after coming off tour that led to a four year delay between the album releases. "I had no idea how exhausted I'd be after I finished touring. I was physically incapable of doing anything. I tried to start recording about a month after I finished on tour and I turned up at the studio and just fell asleep. I was like a zombie."

Re-enrgised and ready to take her new album on the road, Ladyhawke tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster’s GET ME IN! ticket market. See Ladyhawke live!
