Jack White Plays First Ever Solo Show
Jack White has played his first solo performance outside the famous Thuird Man Records store in Nashville, USA.

The former White Stripes singer joined the record shop’s third birthday party celebrations with a 19-song solo set. White kicked off his solo set with The White Stripes’ “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” and continued with more songs by The White Stripes, The Dead Weather and The Reconteurs.

Other Jack White penned classics included “Hotel Yorba,” “My Doorbell,” “Steady As She Goes” and, of course, “Seven Nation Army.” Jack White ended his first solo set with a cover of the song “Goodnight Irene by Blues legend Leadbelly. Jack White was accompanied by his current backing band.

The accomplished songwriter and blues guitar visionary is set to play the Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend on 23rd & 24th June 2012.
