Mumford And Sons And John Legend Live At The White House
Mumford and Sons and John Legend have been invited to perform tonight, Wednesday, 14th March 2012 at The White House in front of PM David Cameron and US President Barack Obama.

The Britsh folk-rock band has been personally selected and invited by PM David Cameron to represent the current state of British music, while Barack Obama selected US soul star, John Legend.

An exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime concert at The White House for Mumford & Sons and John Legend.

The British Primi Minister and US President are both known for being fans of contemporary music. Not always are the artists happy about such promotion. Morrissey and Johnny Marr recently spoke out, after David Cameron outed himself as a fan of the legendary songwriting duo’s former band, The Smiths.

The former Smiths guitarist was quote telling the Prime Minister: “I forbid you to like (The Smiths).”

Barack Obama’s iPod playlist was published a few years back, revealing artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Jay-Z, Al Green and U2 amongst his favourite musicians.
