Kaiser Chiefs are set to release their first Best Of album on June 4th 2012. Titled “Souvenir: The Singles 2004 – 2012,” the album is a snapshot of the band’s strongest singles over the past decade.
The release date for “Souvenir: The Singles 2004 – 2012” is perfectly timed and falls just before Kaiser Chiefs UK summer festival appearances at the Reading and Leeds Festival 2012. The compilation is a great reminder of Kaiser Chiefs excellent indie party anthems and should get the Leeds and Reading Festival punters in the mood.

Kaiser Chiefs join The Black Keys, Eagles of Death Metal and Bullet For My Valentine on the line-up that sees the mighty Foo Fighters headline at Reading Festival on August 25th and Leeds Festival on 26th August Leeds.

“Ruby,” “I Predict A Riot,” “The Angry Mod,” “Modern Way” and “Oh My God” are just some of the ten stellar tracks and in addition the band has also included two brand-new songs, “On The Run” and “Listen To Your Head.” A video for “On The Run” has been released and you can watch it below.

The Best Of compilation follows Kaiser Chiefs fourth studio album, “The Future is Medieval” earlier this year.

Kaiser Chiefs tickets for their appearances at Reading Festival and Leeds Festival are now available on Ticketmaster’s GET ME IN! ticket market.
