Madonna Confirms LMFAO And Martin Solveig For Hyde Park
28 Mar 2012
LMFAO and Martin Solveig have been confirmed to open for Madonna at her massive Hyde Park open-air concert in London on Tuesday, 17th July 2012.
Madonna has always been championing up-and-coming artist and the announcement of LMFAO and Martin Solveig, two happening acts of the moment, proves that the ‘Queen of Pop’ still has her ear firmly to the (under)ground.
Madonna’s Hyde Park concert marks the first of three UK shows the “Material Girl” performs this year on our shores. Following the Hyde Park concert, Madonna then plays an indoor show at the Birmingham NIA on Thursday, 19th July and finishes her 2012 UK stint at the Edinburgh Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday, July 21st 2012.
The 2012 Madonna World Tour marks Madonna’s return to force with an emphasis on songs and a focus on what her fans love her most for: brilliant pop songs. The new album MDNA (short for Madonna) with the singles “Give Me All Your Luvin” and “Girl Gone Wild” also set out a clear signal that Madonna has moved away from Garage and House influences and gone back to her poppier roots.
