Fred Durst Threatens To Fire Limp Bizkit Members
02 Apr 2012
Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst has apparently threatened to chop founding members DJ Lethal and John Otto off the line-up if the pair won’t clean up their acts and stop the wild partying.
Limp Bizkit have just signed a new record deal with Lil’ Wayne’s “Cash Money” record label. Speaking of the new record deal and forthcoming new Limp Bizkit album, Fred Durst promises the “craziest metal record of all time.”
DJ Lethal responded to Fred Durst’s threat to fire him and drummer John Otto from the band: "We've worked together the last four years to bring Limp Bizkit back to where it is today (…) and to be thrown out on the street after the band gets a new deal and a new chance at life isn't cool.” The long-time Limp Bizkit man continues, "You can't push away the people who helped you get there. The fans should know that if 2-out-of-5 of the original band are not playing at the concerts, it won't be truthful to them."
So far there has been no response or official statement from Fred Durst or the Limp Bizkit’s management.
