The Rolling Stones To Enter Recording Studio
13 Apr 2012
Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has revealed his legendary band will meet in a recording studio later this month to work on ideas.
Wood said the band would “throw some ideas around in the studio” as their first attempt for the much speculated 50th anniversary reunion. The legendary rocker celebrate their 50th stage anniversary although many believed it would coincide with the 2012 London Olympics and result in one massive comeback show, it now seems The Rolling Stones count their own anniversary from the time drummer Charlie Watts joined the band, which would push their 50th to 2013.
“It’s like working out for the Olympics or something.” said Ronnie Wood, “You’ve got to go into training. So we’re going to go into training.”
The Stones guitarist will be performing at this year’s Bluesfest and will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame as a member of 60’s band The Faces, alongside Rod Stewart.
