13 Apr 2012
Florence and The Machine have been added to this year’s Lollapalooza Festival.
The British songstress and her band join the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jack White, Black Sabbath and Sigur Ros on the 2012 line-up.
Festival organiser and Jane’s Addiction frontman, Perry Farrell announced his festival’s headliners and admitted that “every year it’s kind of a nail biter putting a line-up together.” Farrell continues, “There were moments when I looked at it and I was beside myself. I didn’t know what to do.”
Lollapalooza has established itself as one of the US’ largest and most influential music festivals. This year, 120 acts from all over the globe will perform at Lollapalooza, which is taking place on August 3rd 2012 at Grant Park in Chicago.
Past headliners at Lollapalooza included Lady Gaga, Green Day, Eminem and Coldplay.
