Britains Got Talent and The Voice Clash Over Finals
It look like another clash of the Titans with ITV’s Britain’s got Talent and The Voice fighting over airspace, with the BBC not budging - clashing with BGT and resulting in a 75 minute overlap.

The row began when ITV brought the final 2.5 hours forward, to start at 6.30pm, and BBC bosses have been up in arms over the decision. One BBC worker said “This is a completely avoidable situation. ITV’s claims about dirty tricks now look rather disingenuous.”

On the flip side, ITV staff were quick to respond and said “We have to accommodate rather a long family show. The BBC was asked to move to 6pm but refused.”

Music mogul Simon Cowell who produces BGT breathed a sigh of relief as it seems The Voice appeared to be losing the TV ratings battle. The Voice’s first results programme on BBC1 on a Sunday night drew a peak audience of 9.1million — down 1.2million on Saturday’s live show.

With things hotting up for a great finale for both shows, The Voice tickets are bound to be popular when the show goes on tour in September 2012. The tour kicks off in Bournemouth, International Centre, Wednesday 12th September 2012 and ends at Sheffield, Motorpoint Arena, Thursday 27th September 2012.
