The Olympics have finally arrived! Tomorrow is the grand opening ceremony and the anticipation and excitement of the games are really hotting up!

Tickets top get into the Olympic Stadium were near impossible to get hold of, but you can still get tickets to the BT London Live concert. The BT London Live Opening Ceremony celebration concert is taking place at London’s Hyde Park tomorrow, Friday 27th July 2012 and features amongst a stellar lineup of top live acts and performers the chance to watch the London Olympic 2012 opening spectacular broadcast live on massive video screens.

See the best in UK music represented from the likes of Snow Patrol (North Ireland), Duran Duran (England), Stereophonics (Wales) and Paolo Nutini (Scottland) as they perform in front of 70,000 sports and music fans from all over the globe.

The City of London has given the event their blessing by lifting the tight curfew to 1am!

Audrey Lewis, licensing chairman of Westminster City Council said of the event that it’s going to be “an exceptional evening” and acknowledges that BT London Live was “different from commercial shows that go in the park at other times.”

Britpop veterans Blur are set to play the BT London Live Closing Ceremony and have also been given the 1am curfew for their show taking place at London Hyde Park on 12th August 2012.
