Eric Clapton Announces 50th Anniversary Concerts
Rock and blues guitar legend Eric Clapton has announced a series of concerts marking his 50th anniversary in the music business.

He will begin the short tour with a show at the LG Arena, Birmingham on the 13th May 2013 and perform at the Royal Albert Hall for five nights in 17-23rd May 2013.

Eric Clapton has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times – on his own, with his first band The Yardbirds in the early ‘60s and also Cream later on.

Back with him on tour, the “Layla” star brings with him Doyle Bramhall II (guitar), Steve Jordan (drums), Chris Stainton (piano and keyboards), and Willie Weeks (bass), along with the legendary Paul Carrack (organ and keyboards) and newcomer Greg Leisz (pedal steel guitar).
