Rolling Stones Tickets In High Demand
19 Oct 2012
The most in-demand concert tickets this year are without a shadow of a doubt Rolling Stones tickets for the band’s long-rumoured comeback shows to celebrate Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie’s 50’s band anniversary as The Rolling Stones.
The Rolling Stones tickets went on general on sale earlier today and were snapped up in record time by fans from around the world. With only 2 indoor arena concerts in the UK and two more over in the US , demand for Rolling Stones tickets outweighs availability.
Under the banner “50 Years & Counting …”, Mick Jagger and his men return to their fans to celebrate the unrivalled achievement in popular music: 50 years of Rock n Roll swagger, excesses, dramas and all along a first class backcatalogue featuring more pop gems than you can shake a stick at and The Stones have even recorded brand new material, the song Doom & Gloom for their 2012 album Grrr.
Skip the next paragraph if you don’t want to spoil the surprise about the see the songs the might be playing. The band’s official site recently posted a setlist of the band’s rehearsals that included Wild Horses, Can’t Always Get What You Want, Lady Jane, Little Red Rooster, Miss you, Not Fade Away, She’s So Cold, The Last Time, Midnight Rambler and the Rolling Stones 60’s singles Paint it Black and Ruby Tuesday amongst many more. Apparently Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Charlie have rehearsed over 70 songs for the concerts at The O2 in London in November and The US December shows at the New Jersey Newark Prudential Centre.
The last Rolling Stones tour, “A Bigger Bang” was the highest grossing tour of all time until it was eclipsed by U2’s 360 Tour in 2009/2010. For a long time rumours suggested that The Rolling Stones would never tour again until it emerged the band would consider celebrating their 50’s anniversary with a one-off show. Now we got four concerts and more are rumoured with the NME hinting today that a possible Rolling Stones tour in 2013 or at least more shows in the New Year are currently being discussed by the band. Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood was quoted that “once this wheel is turning I don't think it will be able to stop ... We won't be able to stop”.
