Don Giovanni, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s classic opera about revenge, betrayal and love.
The opera begins with a servant Leporello and Don Giovanni, his master. Don Giovanni is a jealous, sexual young man, in pursuit of Donna Anna, the daughter of the Commendatore.
After killing the Commendatore, Leporello and Don Giovanni disappear and find themselves in pursuit of further mischief.
They attend a ball where Don Giovanni again pursues a peasant, Zerlina and he is caught out by Don Ottavio (the Commendatore’s son), Donna Anna and Donna Elvira (previously seduced by Don Giovanni ) who have come to exact their revenge on him.
