Puccini's Turandot Staged At Wembley Stadium

Zhang Yimou, the acclaimed Chinese Opera director is staging his adaptation of Puccini’s opera “Turandot” at the London Wembley Stadium.

A cast led by award-winning Spanish tenor Placido Domingo, the massive production involves over 600 artists and will be staged during the London Olympics on June 23rd 2012.

Zhang Yimou’s “Turandot” was first staged in China’s Forbidden City in Bejing in 1998.
