Edward Bond’s controversial play “Saved” returns for a rare run at London’s Lyric Theatre Hammersmith during October.
The latest production of “Saved” marks the first time in 25 years this play will be performed in a major production in London.
Bond’s “Saved” deals with issues of violence and one of it’s most remembered scenes is that of a gang of youth attacking a toddler in a pushchair. The creative team behind “Saved” hopes the revival of this influential play will disturb, challenge and provoke its audience.
