Working under different guises such as Johnny Rockwell, Stinkin' Rich, Haslam, and Uncle Climax, Buck 65, real name Richard Terfry was keen to move away from his country upbringing and in the process established himself as one of the top MC’s and turntable masters.
With his first hit “The Rhyme Has To Be Good”, Buck 65 gradually made a name for himself on college radio and 12 years later, was able to live of his passion of mixing everything from hip-hop, blues and rock.
