Emeli Sande
Emeli Sande (born Adele Emeli Sandé) was born in 1987, and is of Scottish descent. Her life has dramatically changed since her early stint as a medical student at Glasgow University.
She signed a record deal at 22 years old with EMI after recording songs with Chipmunk - “Diamond Ring” and produced tunes for Cheryl Cole -“Boys”, grime-rap artist Professor Green "Read All About It" and features on rapper Wileys’ track "Never Be Your Woman".
Her R&B roots and soulful style has transcended over the years and her dance and pop hit “Heaven” released on 14th August 2011 reached number 2 in the UK Singles Chart and number 1 in the Dance Charts.
