Example
Example is Elliot John Gleave. He was born on 20th June 1982 and is from Fulham, southwest London.
His meteoric rise has been achieved through his mixture of rap, grime and dance music which has elevated him into the charts with his hit tunes “Changed the Way You Kiss Me”, “Unorthodox” feat. rising rap star Wretch 32, and dub-step whizzkid Skream and “Shot Yourself In The Foot Again”.
In the early days, Example produced his tunes through his own record label before being scouted by Mike Skinners’ label, The Beats, where he produced his first album What We Made. His follow up album Won't Go Quietly reached number 20 in the UK Album Charts and number 6 in the Singles Chart.
Example tickets for his second tour in February 2011 were quick to sell-out and new material recorded. In September 2011 Example released his third album Playing In The Shadows on Ministry of Sounds’ imprint, Data Records.
