Jay-Z Announced As Headliner For Wireless 2013

Rapper and mega star Jay-Z has been announced as the headliner for the second day of the Wireless Festival 2013. It will be the star's only UK festival performance in 2013.

Shaun Carter is known as a rapper, producer, businessman and husband to Beyonce. With a string of successful albums, including all three ‘Blueprint’ albums, the Jay-Z tour will most defiantly be a hell of a show.

Jay-Z tickets for the second day of the 2013 Wireless festival are expected to sell like extremely quickly, as demand for last year’s event was extremely high.

This year’s Wireless festival sees Emeli Sande, Rita Ora, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel, DJ Fresh/Live join the music mogul on the same day. Partner in crime Justin Timberlake takes the centre stage on Friday 12th July 2013 with Snoop Dogg, Trey Songz, John Legend, Miguel and very special guest Frank Ocean on the debut night of the festival.

The 2013 Grammys saw Jay-Z perform on stage with N Sync and successful solo singer Justin Timberlake, as they sang their latest collaboration, “Suit & Tie” to a delighted, packed audience.

Fans of Jay-Z will have to wait a bit longer for the highly anticipated follow-up from The Blueprint 3 gets released. With expectations running extremely high after all of The Blueprint albums, Jay-Z fans won’t have long to wait until his next instalment of the exciting series.

Rounding off 2012, Jay-Z performed with Coldplay at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and worked with the Brit awarded Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Timbaland and Roc Nation favourites, with future projects in the pipeline for 2013.

Jay-Z last performed with Kanye West as part of the ‘Watch The Throne’ concerts at The O2 Arena, London, Manchester Arena, LG Arena in Birmingham and Motorpoint Arena in May 2012. He also performed as part of the Olympic events at the BBC Hackney Weekend which took place 23-24th June 2012, and had thousands of lucky holders of Jay-Z tickets singing along to Jay-Z’s massive hits “Run This Town”, (with Rihanna), “Dirt Off Your Shoulder”, “I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)”, “Public Service Announcement”, “Where I'm From”, “Jigga What”, “Jigga Who”, “U Don't Know”, “99 Problems”, “03 Bonnie & Clyde” and many more.
