Professor Green launched his career at the Ted Mayhem and The Streets’ Mike Skinner run The Beats record label with his debut release Mixtape #1 and its follow-up The Green EP. In 2008 the Professor scooped the Jump Off MySpace rap battle tournament and he bagged the support acts for Lily Allen in 2009 and has since collaborated with Allen on her single ‘Just Be Good To Green’ which the duo performed live in front of a sold-out crowd at London’s massive Wireless Festival at Hyde Park.
Now signed to Virgin Records, the meteoric rise of Professor Green really started to take off with the release of his single ‘I Need You Tonight,’ a song containing a sample of the INXS’s hit of the same name. His highly anticipated debut album, ‘Alive Till I’m Dead’ followed in summer 2010 and its follow-up, "At Your Inconvenience" in 2011.
