Professor Green
Professor Green (born Stephen Paul Manderson) was born 27th November 1983 in Hackney, northeast London. He quickly rose to fame as a highly acclaimed rapper after competing and winning the JumpOff MySpace rap competition and toured with grime-pop princess Lilly Allen in 2009.
In a short space of time, Professor Green has won a number of awards including, the BT Digital Music Awards 2010 Breakthrough Artist of the Year, MOBO Awards 2010 - Best Hip Hop/Grime Act and NME Awards 2011- Best Dancefloor Filler – Jungle.
His earlier material included re-works of "Just Be Good To Green" and "I Need You Tonight" and were released on Virgin Records. Both were a success, charting in the top five on the UK Singles Chart. Professor Greens’ debut album "Alive Till I'm Dead" performed well and peaked at number two in the UK Album Charts.
Professor Green brought out his second album At Your Inconvenience on 31st October 2011 and had another hit single which featured pop singer Emeli Sandé.
