ABBA

The greatest pop group that ever existed! Abba were formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1972 and consisted of Agnetha, Frida and the stellar songwriting team of Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson.

Abba have sold in excess of 375 million records worldwide and have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.

The band broke up in 1982 but their infectious pop classics, such as Dancing Queen, Knowing Me Knowing You, Waterloo, Super Trooper and many other hits have remained popular and interest in Abba has only gained over the years.

The band, whichenjoyed their biggest success during the golden days of disco in the late 1970's has spwned a countless number of tribute acts, some of which have become very popular in their own right, such as Bjorn Again. The tribute acts and more recently the box office hit musical Mamma Mia!, a musical featuring Abba's most-loved hits have only helped increasing the Abba cult in recent years.

Fans are still hoping to see the day the 4 original members of Abba will get back together for an Abba concert. If an Abba reunion would happen, fans could expect an Abba tickets frenzy.
