Africa Express hit the road

Africa Express is Damon Albarn's latest musical project; a collaborative project that features African and Western musicians. The band will be touring the country aborad the African Express, a fright train especially chartered for the band's tour across the UK. The band members will be rehearsing for each show while on the move on the Africa Express. Expect different performances and surprises at each gig.

The Africa Express lineup will be revealed closer to the concerts but previous Africa Express concerts saw the likes of Baaba Maal and Franz Ferdinand, Rokia Traore singing one of Damon Albarn's Gorillaz hit and The Clash's Mick Jones and Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones joined Rachid Taha on The Clash punk-reggae classic 'Rock the Casbah.'
