“I Get Wet,” Andrew W.K.’s Heavy Metal infused 2001 debut arrived at a time when Indie-Pop and Electroclash dominated airwaves and dancefloors. Songs, such as the album’s singles, “Party ‘till you Puke,” “She is Beautiful” and in particular, “Party Hard” which became Andrew W.K.’s trademark tune, all pushed album sales and occupied charts and dancefloors.

Following the success of "I Get Wet," Andrew W.K. released five more albums to date but none achieved the impact and success of “I Get Wet.”
