Angel In-depth Biography
Angel} got her start in the entertainment industry while still a child, taking singing and dancing lessons and learning a bit of piano. She signed with Jive Records} at 13, and joined a teen pop} combo called No Secrets}. The group debuted in 2001, backing up pin-up sensation Aaron Carter} on songs like "Stride [Jump on the Fizzy]"} and "Oh Aaron."} No Secrets}' eponymous full-length arrived a year later and generated some buzz in the Radio Disney} universe, most notably with their bubbly cover of the Kim Wilde} classic "Kids in America"} for the Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius} soundtrack}. After No Secrets}' dissolution, Angel} became the initial signee to L.A.-based Midas Records}. Believe in Angels Believe in Me}, her solo debut, appeared in August 2004. It featured a mix of club}, dance-pop}, and R&B} elements, and included a collaboration with hot production team the Matrix}.
