At The Drive In
At The Drive-In formed in the early ‘90s and released three acclaimed albums: Acrobatic Tenement, In/Casino/Out and Relationship of Command. Despite positive write-ups and a large dedicated fan base, it wasn’t until At The Drive In’s final album, Relationship of Command, saw the band receive success on a global scale.
After they disbanded, its members went on to form new bands. Jim Ward, Paul Hinojos, and Tony Hajjar formed the band Sparta, while Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López formed the influential Mars Volta.
Almost a decade after going separate ways, the original members of At The Drive-In got back together in 2012 for their first show since 2002 at the prestigious Coachella Festival in the US. More US shows followed, before they finally decided to take their reunion tour to Europe.
