Band of Horses
Band of Horses is a Seattle rock band formed in 2004. The band consists of Ben Bridwell, Ryan Monroe, Tyler Ramsey, Bill Reynolds and Creighton Barrett.
To date Band of Horses has released Everything All the Time (2006), Cease to Begin (2007) and Infinite Arms (2010). During 2007 Band of Horses toured Europe and North America.
They first had commercial success with their second album Cease to Begin (2007) which reached #35 on the US Billboard 200 and did well in other parts of Europe. The album received praise from the likes of Rolling Stone magazine.
By the time Band of Horses released Cease to Begin, the band had began to settle for a six-piece band, and in 2008, toured the UK with shows at Glastonbury in Somerset and T in the Park, Glenrothes.
In 2009, the band went through a few band changes and worked on their next album Infinite Arms. By 2010 and the release of their third studio album, Band of Horses went on to tour extensively across the world and performed at many high profile festivals including; SXSW, Reading Festival, Leeds Festival, and several more.
In April 2012, Band of Horses announced they were working on their fourth album and gave Facebook fans a sneak preview of their latest video “Dumpster World.”
