Beady Eye is the new band of Liam Gallagher and his former Oasis sidemen, Andy Bell on guitar, Gem Archer on bass and new recruit Chris Sharrock on the drums. The band have announced their first ever live shows.

Beady Eye’s debut single, “Bring the Light” was released digitally as free download through the band’s official website and shows Liam Gallagher’s Beady Eye project arrive with an infectious upbeat, 60’s infused rock ‘n roll sound, and with Liam’s instantly recognisable sneer, it is not miles from some of Oasis’ faster numbers.

Liam Gallagher has announced that Beady Eye will release their follow up album to "The Roller" later this year. Gallagher made the claim in an announcement with the Irish Times, and pointed out the differences between Beady Eye and his previous band. Gallagher said: “The big difference between Beady Eye and Oasis is that we're not going to put the ball down, sit around in a big house and go 'we're great'. We won't be taking months and months in the studio either. We don't want to roll this over into next year. There will be an awesome new album coming soon."
