Beady Eye is the new band of Liam Gallagher and his former Oasis sidemen, Andy Bell on guitar, Gem Archer on bass and new recruit Chris Sharrock on the drums. The band have announced their first ever live shows. See Beady Eye live in March at Glasgow Barrowland (3rd & 4th March), Manchester O2 Apollo (6th & 7th March) and London Troxy (9th & 10th March).
Beady Eye’s debut single, “Bring the Light” has been released digitally as free download through the band’s official website and shows Liam Gallagher’s Beady Eye project arrive with an infectious upbeat, 60’s infused rock ‘n roll sound, and with Liam’s instantly recognisable sneer, it is not miles from some of Oasis’ faster numbers. For sure, “Bring The Light” will sound even better live when the band takes to the road in the new year.
Oasis fans have been waiting with baited breath for the return of the infamous Oasis frontman and Liam has finally managed to step out of his older brother’s song-writing shadow. “Bring The Light” is an astonishing debut that was written and produced during the summer of 2010 with producer veteran Steve Lillywhite (U2, The Smiths, The Rolling Stones).
