Black Veil Brides
Black Veil Brides are a glam-metal band from Hollywood California. The band currently compromises Andy Biersack – bass (early) lead vocals, keyboards, (2006–present), Jake Pitts – lead guitar (2009–present), Jeremy "Jinxx" Ferguson – rhythm guitar, violin, backing vocals (2009–present), Ashley Purdy – bass, backing vocals (2009–present) and Christian "CC" Coma – drums, percussion (2010–present).
The band has had a number of band changes throughout the years they have been active (2006 – present), and fashion themselves on metal bands like KISS and other mainstream glam metal bands.
Beginning life on independent label StandBy Records, Black Veil Brides had success with their first release We Stitch These Wounds, which began their road to success.
With their black and white make up and home-made videos, Black Veil Brides began to gain a big following and the band went on to join other established metal acts on the 2011 Vans Warped Tour and also supported Californian punk rock band Murderdolls on their "God Save The Scream Tour" in 2011.
Their second album Set the World on Fire (2011) contained the singles "Fallen Angels", "The Legacy" and "Rebel Love Song". At its peak, it reached number 17 in the Billboard Chart.
Black Veil Brides wrote song for The Avengers “Unbroken” which was released May 2012.
