About Blink 182
The band formed in sunny San Diego in 1992 and made their debut release with the album Cheshire Cat in 1994. Dude Ranch followed in 1997 but it was the multi-Platinum album, Enema of the State, that put the three skater punks on the map. The album spawned some of the band’s most loved songs including What’s My Age Again?, All The Small Things and Adam’s Song.
The following albums, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket (2001) and their 2003 eponymous titled album, equalled the success, receiving multiple Platinum certifications and a string of hit singles.
The band disbanded after the release of Blink 182 in 2003 and their extended farewell tour. A Greatest Hits package followed in 2005 but the Blink 182 band members were now pursuing solo careers.
2010 arrived with the news that surprised and delighted fans that the original members, Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, would reunite. The reunion included a world tour, which saw a soaring anticipation for Blink 182 tickets and confirmed the popularity of Blink 182.
In 2011 Blink 182 released their sixth studio album, Neighbours, and returned to the UK in 2012 where they embarked on an arena tour.
