The Killers’ Brandon Flowers is back with a show at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 16 November.
Following his 2015 tour, the singer-songwriter and The Killers frontman will play a special concert in London. Fans can expect to hear tracks from his second solo album The Desired Effect, along with songs from 2010’s Flamingo.
About Brandon Flowers
After fronting the Killers for 9 years, Brandon Flowers released his debut solo album in 2010. The result was Flamingo: an alternative, pop-rock album which charted at No.1 in the UK.
The album was written and produced by Brandon Flowers, along with Stuart Price, Daniel Lanois and Brandan O’Brien. It was named after Flamingo Road, a place in Las Vegas, where Brandon Flowers grew up. He supported the album with the Flamingo Road tour that visited the UK.
2015 saw the release of Brandon Flowers' solo follow-up. The album strayed away from the Las Vegas inspired sounds of before with the lead single Can’t Deny My Love mixing rock sounds with a disco inspired feel. The singer embarked on a solo UK tour in May in support of the collection.
With the Killers Brand Flowers has enjoyed huge success releasing four studio albums, all of which have led the UK charts. The Killers released Hot Fuss in 2014 to be followed by 2006’s Sam’s Town and 2008’s Day & Age.
More recently, the group released Battle Born in 2012 and toured the UK in support of the release. They played their biggest UK show at London’s Wembley Stadium. The show seemed more than adequate to celebrate 4 consecutive UK No.1s with around 80,000 in attendance.
The group have also been nominated for 7 BRIT and Grammy Awards while Brandon Flower’s ranked No.8 on Xfm’s list of Greatest Frontmen of All Time in 2013.
