Bring Me The Horizon, the five-piece from Sheffield, will head out on a tour around the UK in November.

The dates are part of their wider European tour and will start in Southampton on 31 October. Touring through the country, the band will play shows in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Doncaster, Cardiff, London, Birmingham (where they will play two shows) and Bristol.

The band originally announced just four UK dates, but a huge demand for Bring Me The Horizon tickets saw the band add additional shows. The metal favourites, who recently gave an impressive performance at Reading and Leeds Festival before headliners Metallica, will play tracks from their brand new release That’s The Spirit and older fan favourites.

About Bring Me The Horizon

Bring Me The Horizon, who hail from Sheffield, formed in 2005 as the result of several failed bands. They originally comprised frontman Oliver Sykes, guitarists Lee Malia and Curtis Ward, Matt Nicholls on drums and Matt Kean on bass.

With their name inspired by the film Pirates Of The Caribbean, the five members came together to produce their first EP, which they then released by starting their own label.

Their EP, This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For, soon caught the attention of the record label Visible Noise, who work with the likes of Bullet For My Valentine. The EP was rereleased and a full length album soon followed.

In 2006, Bring Me The Horizon released Count Your Blessings in the UK – their debut album – with an American release the following year that widened their audience. Bring Me The Horizon then managed a feat that few deathcore bands have achieved – they made it onto the Official UK Albums Chart with their second album, Suicide Season.

Despite this success guitarist Curtis Ward decided to leave the band. He was replaced by Jona Weinhofen. At first, Jona, whose previous band was I Killed The Prom Queen, joined on a temporary basis, but he was soon a permanent member and Bring Me The Horizon were back in the studio.

The band followed up their early success with 2010’s There Is A Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It, There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret. In 2013, they released Sempiternal. They embarked on a hugely successful 2013 UK tour and went on to play their biggest ever show at London’s Wembley Arena.
