Bryan Adams has confirmed an arena tour for May 2016, following the release of Get Up.
The Canadian singer and musician will kick off his arena dates on 28 April at Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena. The tour will close at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on 15 May 2016.
Touring through April and May, Bryan Adams will perform shows in Bournemouth, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Newcastle and Sheffield.
Following his UK tour, Bryan Adams will play a number of UK shows during August. The singer is scheduled to perform at Sandown Park on 5 August and Peterborough’s The Embankment on 5 August.
The dates support Get Up, which is the singer’s thirteenth studio album and was produced by Jeff Lynne and was written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance.
Bryan Adams last toured the UK during 2014, embarking on two tours. The Walk On By singer first played a number of acoustic shows, which saw the acclaimed musician perform stripped back versions of his classic songs, before he celebrated the 30th anniversary of his Reckless album with an arena tour during November 2014.

He was born in Canada in 1959 and signed to A&M Records in 1978. Bryan Adams released his eponymous album in 1988. His third album, Cuts Like A Knife, landed Bryan Adams real notice with the hit singles Straight From The Heart and This Time.
However, it was the following year that propelled him into worldwide fame when he released Reckless. The 1984 album caught the attention of North America, Europe and Asia. It contained the hits, among others, Heaven, Summer of ’69, Run to You, One Night Love Affair and It’s Only Love, which is a duet with Tina Turner.
