Bryan Ferry emerged with Roxy Music in the early 70’s. The pioneering glam rocker enjoyed a string of hit albums with rock classics, such as “Virginia Plain,” “Mother of Pearl,” “ Do The Strand” and “Avalon” amongst many others.

While still with Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry released his first solo album, “These Foolish Things,” an album with covers, including versions of songs by The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan.

Bryan Ferry solo career really took when Roxy Music went into hiatus in the early 80’s. Ferry enjoyed chart success, in particular the songs “Let’s Stick Together” and his definitive version of the John Lennon classic, “Jealous Guy” and in 1985 Ferry’s “Boys and Girls” went Platinum and topped the US and UK album charts.

Bryan Ferry received critical acclaim with “As Time Goes By,” a collection of Jazz standards he released in 1999.

“Olympia” is Bryan Ferry’s most recent album and his first with original material since 2002’s release, “Frantic.” The album made headlines before its release when news broke, model, Kate Moss would grace the album cover and resemble those classic Roxy Music covers from the early 70’s, such as “Roxy Music,” “For Your Pleasure” and “Stranded.”
