Chris Isaak
Chris Isaak (born Christopher Joseph Isaak) was born 26th June 1956 and is from Stockton, California.
A singer, song writer, musician and talk show host; Isaak has been involved in the music and entertainment business for almost 30 years.
His unique rock n’ roll style, echoing the likes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis has seen his music used in the classic Channel Four film, Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart (both David Lynch films).
Chris Isaak’s third album Heart Shaped World (1989) contained the song "Wicked Game" which was a worldwide smash hit and received critical acclaim.
He has appeared in a number of cameo film roles, including Silence of the Lambs (1991) and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992).
In 2011, Chris Isaak brought out the album Beyond the Sun. The self-produced album was recorded mostly at the historic Sun Studio with his long-term band; Rowland Salley (bass), Kenney Dale Johnson (drums), Hershel Yatovitz (guitar), Scott Plunkett (piano) and Rafael Padilla (percussion).
