Citizens!
Citizens! are a brand new five-piece band signed to hip French label Kitsuné. Consisting of London boys Martyn, Thom, Mike, Lawrence and Tom; Citizens! have quickly sprung onto the scene with their quirky, melodious and poppy sound.
To date they have released their excellent debut single “True Romance” and if you have been one of the early supporters of this fine London band and have been lucky to have already been to a Citizens! concert, you know this band has many more songs with hit-potential in the pipeline!
Kitsune’s Citizens! have recently finished their first UK headline tour, which included a sold-out NME Awards Show at the London Electric Ballroom in February 2012.
With the release of their as of yet untitled debut album looming on the not too-far horizon, Citizens! are determined to win over more fans when they hit the road one again to tour the UK and abroad.
Alongside French contingents, Phoenix and northern quarter Delphic, Citizens! form a strong staple on the fine Kitsuné roster, who has been introducing cutting-edge, underground acts to the wider public.
