Donny Osmond
Donny Osmond was born 9th December 1957 and is from Ogden, Utah. He is one of nine children and became world famous as child stars famously called ‘The Osmonds’. Together they sold over 200 million albums worldwide and had their music translated into seven languages.
Donny Osmond and his sister Marie Osmond performed at the infamous Flamingo Hotel in September 2008 and with such phenomenal demand, the show was extended for another 6 months and has since carried on past the original dates.
2008 was also a special year for The Osmonds as they celebrated their 50th anniversary and the group came together and performed a commemorative concert followed by a month long tour through the UK, Australia and Asia.
Donny Osmond hosted the TV series “Identity” and “Pyramid” and went on to release a ‘best of collection’. He also performed at the Princess Diana concert in 2007.
Donny Osmond had great success in the theatre and played in the North American production of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in the ‘90s. He played in the show for 6 years and performed in over 2000 shows.
