Enter Shikari
Enter Shikari is a punk- rock, electronic band consisting of Rou Reynolds (vocals, electronica), Rory Clewlow (guitar), Chris Batten (bass guitar) and Rob Rolf (drums).
Formed in 2003, the band is from St. Albans, Hertfordshire. The band rose to fame very quickly through putting music out on their own website and amassed a total of 500 gigs in 2007.
Their first studio album Take to the Skies (2007) made them popular with fans and their single “Sorry You're Not a Winner/OK Time for Plan B" landed them a deal with games maker, EA Sports.
Common Dreads (2009) made it in the top 40 in the UK Album Chart and Enter Shikari toured throughout 2009. In 2010, the band went to Australia for a month and then in 2011, travelled to South East Asia and embarked on the The Dead Throne Tour with other metal rock artists The Devil Wears Prada, Whitechapel, and For Today.
Enter Shikari have succeeded in getting two Kerrang! Awards and the NME Awards: John Peel Award for Musical Innovation 2007.
