If Nicola Roberts’ recent tweet is anything to go by, it seems a Girls Aloud Re-union may well be on the cards...

Amidst months of speculation, gossip and some super sleuth detective efforts, Girls Aloud have very much managed to keep any details of a forthcoming re-union tour tightly under wraps, so far only teasingly announcing that they have ‘something special planned to celebrate their tenth anniversary next year’.

However whilst the picture tweeted last night gives hope to Girls Aloud fans everywhere, it shows only 4 of the 5 original members, with Irish beauty Nadine Coyle notably absent. What exactly will next year’s 10th anniversary have in store? All we know is we want to be there, whatever it is…

Girls Aloud to reform?

It is being reported that Girls Aloud are to reunite for a 2012 anniversary tour celebrating ten years of the band. It however has been suggested that the band will not feature Cheryl Cole, who is busy with personal projects. A Girls Aloud source "Obviously it's going to be very difficult without Cheryl, but they know they'll do well with another album and Cheryl could even join them for the tour next year if she's available. It makes sense and it doesn't mean that she'd leave the band - she'd just be taking a break."
