Good Shoes are back with four UK tour dates this December. Kicking off at Fac251 Manchester (13/10), the tour then continues at Sheffield Leadmill (15/10), London Scala (16/10) and Winchester The Railway Inn in (18/10). See Good Shoes showcase songs from their latest album ‘No Hope, No Future’ as well as all their early material.
This four-piece pop-punk band was formed in 2004 by lead singer Rhys Jones and guitarist Steve Leach. Originally a two-piece band, the band expanded with the arrival of Rhys’ brother Tom and friend Joel Cox. The band started playing gigs in 2005, supporting amongst others The Mystery Jets before getting signed to the Brille record label.
The Good Shoes debut album, ‘Think Before You Speak’ followed in 2007 and took the band on tour as support for Kaiser Chiefs, The Pigeon Detectives and We Are Scientists, as well as their own headline concerts.
Joel Cox left the Good Shoes prior to the recording sessions for their second album. Bob Matthews, a friend of the band stepped in during the recording of the album and Will Church, formerly of Vincent Vincent and the Villains joined Good Shoes as bassist at concerts.
‘No Hope, No Future’ saw the light of day in January 2010 and is now taking the band on UK tour. Don’t miss you chance to see Good Shoes live. Good Shoes tickets for all UK dates are now available on GET ME IN!
