Guns N' Roses
Guns N’ Roses is a heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, U.S.
The band originally consisted of Axl Rose, Slash (lead guitarist), Izzy Stradlin (rhythm guitarist), Duff McKagan (bassist), and Steven Adler (drummer). Formed in 1985, Guns N’ Roses played on the Hollywood circuit and grew popular extremely quickly. Their first album Appetite for Destruction (1987) went 18 times Platinum and has received many accolades over the years.
Following massive success and notoriety that followed in the ’80s, Guns N’ Roses went into the ‘90s with some turbulence and released G N' R Lies (1988) and Use Your Illusion I and II (1991) which followed with their infamous controversial tour.
The Spaghetti Incident? (1993), Guns N’ Roses fifth studio album reached number four on the Billboard 200 Chart and the album consisted of ‘70s and ‘80s punk and glam rock songs.
Their next album, Chinese Democracy (2008) was a long wait between their previous efforts. Their tune "Shackler's Revenge" was used for a video game Rock Band 2 and the tune was made available in 2009 in the Rock Band Series.
