Imagine Dragons return to the UK and Ireland for a 10-date arena tour including their biggest ever headline UK show at London’s The O2 arena.
After last year’s UK tour that saw the tremendous Vegas rockers perform to three sell-out crowds at London’s Brixton Academy, take to the main stage at Reading and Leeds Festival and draw huge crowds at Glastonbury, the group are back with a brand new album and tour.
Starting things as they mean to go on, Imagine Dragons begin their UK live dates in the capital on 5 November. The group will perform at The O2 arena, which will be the Radioactive group’s biggest headline show to date.
Their tour continues to arenas in Nottingham, Leeds, Cardiff, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin and Birmingham.
Imagine Dragon’s UK and Ireland tour is in support of Smoke + Mirrors, their eagerly-awaited follow-up to Night Vision. The album sold over four million copies and includes their huge hits: Radioactive, It’s Time, Demons and Top of the World.
About Imagine Dragons
Perhaps it’s because they’re from Las Vegas or perhaps it’s their ability to pen an album full of explosive hits which makes this four-piece an electric live band.
It was their track, Radioactive, from 2012 which gained the band huge exposure. Taken from debut album, Night Visions, the single was named “the biggest rock hit of the year” and went on to receive two Grammy Award nominations. The group bagged the prize for Best Rock Performance.
Imagine Dragons – who are Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman – proved that Radioactive was far from a one-hit-wonder. Their album included the tracks It’s Time, Demons and Top of the World which have since totalled over 22 million in single sales.
2014 saw the group perform at some of the UK’s most prestigious festivals including Glastonbury and Reading and Leeds Festival. The group attracted huge crowds during their main stage performances.
Along with playing the festival circuit, 2014 saw Imagine Dragons sell-out three nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
Imagine Dragons follow this huge success with their highly anticipated second album, Smoke + Mirrors. In support of the release the group will head over to the UK and Ireland for a 10-date arena tour.
