The album, a retrospective over Janet Jackson's 30 years as recording artist and includes "Control," "Let's Wait Awhile," "What Have You Done For Me Lately," "The Best Things In Life Are Free," and "Scream," Janet's chart-storming 1995 duet with her brother, the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

In 1982, Janet steped outside The Jackson shadow with her debut self-titled album, "Janet Jackson" released through A&M Records. 3 more albums followed on A&M. 1984's; "Dream Street," her first multi-Planinum certified album "Control" in 1986 and 1989's "Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814" established janet as a top-selling international artist.
Janet started the new decade by moving to Virgin Records and released her most commercially successful album, "Janet" in 1993. The album includes the lead single, "That's the Way Love Goes." The song peaked at Number 1 and remained in the pole position for 8 weeks, making it the longest stay in the charts by any member of the Jackson family.
Janet Jackson released 5 albums through Virgin Records over the course of the next 15 years. "Janet," "The Velvet Rope," "All For You," "Damita Joe" and "20 Y.O." all received multi-Platinum status.
Janet Jackson parted with Virgin after the promotion campaign for "20 Y.O" and signed with ISLAND Records. Her most recent studio album, 2008's US Number 1 "Discipline" is the first release with her new label.
