John Mayer to perform at The O2

John Mayer will head to the UK for a huge performance at The O2 in London on 9 June 2014. The one-off UK show will see the multi-Grammy Award winner perform tracks from his latest album Paradise Valley and is part of his European tour.
The John Mayer London show follows on from John Mayer’s US tour in 2013 where he played to sold-out arenas. He last performed in the UK in October at both Wembley Arena and at The O2. John Mayer tickets sold-out for both London dates last year.

About John Mayer
John Mayer released his first album, Room For Squares, in 2001. The album went triple-platinum and in 2002 the second single taken from the album, Your Body Is A Wonderland, landed John Mayor his first Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
He followed up the success with 2003’s Heavier Things. A few years later John Mayor was developing his style further and began working with blues artists such as B. B. King, Buddy Guy and Eric Clapton. He went on to form the John Mayer Trio and released Try!
2006 brought the release of Continuum. The album won John Mayer two Grammy Awards. This time for Best Pop Vocal Album for Continuum and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for the single Waiting On The World To Change.
He released Battle Studios in 2009 and in 2011 John Mayer worked with producer Don Was on his fifth studio album Born and Raised. This time he started to explore more folk-country sounds and the album proved to be commercially successful landing him a No.1 on the Billboard 200 for two weeks. It was his first album to stay in the No.1 spot for more than a week.
John Mayer carried on working with Don Was and in 2013 released Paradise Valley. The album sees John Mayer collaborate with Katy Perry on the single Who You Love, which was released in September.
