Johnny Marr hits the UK live circuit in October where he will play dates across the UK as well as a huge homecoming show at Manchester’s Albert Hall.

Johnny Marr returns to the road in October for a huge tour that will include a homecoming concert in Manchester.
The guitarist and singer will start his tour in Oxford on 4 October. The dates come to a close in Edinburgh on 14 October. Johnny Marr’s tour is to visit Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Inverness during the month. His massive homecoming gig – where he will play tracks from his album Playland – will take place at Manchester’s Albert Hall on 7 October.
On the tour, Johnny Marr and his band are to record a brand new live album. It will be his first since his days of The Smiths. They released the acclaimed live record Rank in 1988. The tour follows Johnny Marr’s festival appearances where was a special guest for The Who and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

Johnny Marr 2015 concerts

Johnny Marr is set to play a number of shows in March 2015.
The first of which will take place at Liverpool’s East Village Arts Club on 25 March. The following day the former Smiths guitarist will perform at Holmfirth Picturedrome.
Johnny Marr’s shows are ahead of his gig at London’s Royal Albert Hall as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust concert series. He will perform alongside Paul Weller.

Johnny Marr has announced a UK tour that will take place in October in support of his debut album The Messenger.
The tour will include 13 dates around the UK and start with a show in Lincoln before continuing into late October. Johnny Marr’s tour includes his biggest solo show in London at the O2 Brixton Academy as well as visit to his hometown with a gig on 25 October at Manchester’s O2 Apollo.
